Our Farm

Goose Hill Farm is a small, family-owned regenerative farm located along the edge of the beautiful driftless region of eastern Iowa. We raise chemical-free small grains and, as of 2026, will be offering certified organic grains as well. Our goal is to raise delicious, nutrient-dense grains for flour milling and cooking while also improving the land and protecting our soil and water resources. With four small children in tow, we like to say that we're raising both healthy grains and healthy kids on the farm!

Andrew and Marissa operate the farm that Marissa grew up on and that has been in the family for over 100 years. The family has always been conscious of caring for the farmland throughout the generations, with Marissa's grandfather implementing one of the first farm conservation plans back in the 1950s. Today, we're committed to improving the soil through minimum tillage practices, planting cover crops, and the reduction or elimination of synthetic chemicals and fertilizers. 

From both a health and a flavor perspective, we have fallen in love with incorporating fresh, whole grains into our family's diet. We are honored to share the fruits of our labor with you and hope you can taste the difference in our grains!
