Seeding Rate: 50-70#/acre

Planting: Drill at 1/4"-3/4" in early fall or in early spring. Einkorn is a facultative variety that can be successfully sowed in either the spring or fall. If broadcast, lightly incorporate after sowing into loose soil.

Standability: Einkorn is a shorter to medium height variety reaching 15-30" in our experience, with good standability.

Harvest: Harvest grain when the plant is dried and dead. Usual yields are between 15 and 30 bu/ac in the hull depending on fertility. Please note that this grain will naturally retain its hull during harvest and must be removed for human consumption. We would be happy to dehull einkorn for you!
